2025 Kings-Hants Political Forum

The East Hants & Districts Chamber of Commerce and The Laker News are hosting a forum for all candidates.
All of the registered Kings-Hants candidates have been invited to attend.
The public forum provides an opportunity for voters to hear directly from candidates on the issues that matter most to our region.
EHCC membership and The Laker News readership have been surveyed for questions and 12 have been selected and not shared with the candidates until the event live.
Doors open at 6:00 pm, with the forum getting underway at 6:30 pm.
Open to all. Pre-registration is appreciated (see below) so we can anticipate attendance. However, walk-ins are welcome on the day of the event. There is a seating capacity of 160 seats available.
The event will be recorded and shared on the Chamber’s & Laker’s News social channels following the event.
