This 10 week training program is designed to deliver the basic hands-on financial knowledge of operating a small business, and one that every business owner will want to take. Starting with key accounting terminology, you will be led step-by-step through the basics of the financial aspect of your business. In addition to understanding bookkeeping basics, you will be able to read, analyze and make financial decisions based on your company’s financial statements as well as know what needs to be done to comply with government reporting requirements.

BUSINESS AFTER HOURS HOSTED BY East Hants Community Learning & Community Rider ✨

East Hants Community Learning Association / Community Rider is a non-profit organization offering educational services, such as GED prep classes and literacy skills trainging, to adults residence of East Hants for over 10 years. It was discovered that the biggest barrier to education is transportation, so out of this necessity, the Community Rider was born.

Now, many years later, and with a fleet of seven vehicles, they are helping residents get to where they need to go!

Connect with local businesses. Get caught up with others. Bring a business partner and invite others.

Thursday, September 19th from 6:00 – 7:30 PM📅
In the Community Garden located 224 Hwy 214, Elmsdale (in case of rain, the event will be inside)

Attendees will enjoy homemade vegetable soup, sandwiches, sweets, veggie tray, coffee and cold refreshments, in the Community Garden.

Meet the EHCLA team who will gladly provide information on:

> the Community Rider with a van and an EV on site
